Existing Adult Chinook Salmon and Steelhead Monitoring Programs in the Central Valley – This is a summary table of all the current adult salmon and steelhead monitoring programs in the Central Valley, including carcass surveys, snorkel surveys, redd counts, aerial redd surveys, trapping, weir and ladder counts, radio telemetry, hatchery counts, and angler surveys. The table includes streams sampled, target species/runs, monitoring methods, variables measured, agency conducting the survey, and contact information. The table was compiled by the IEP Salmonid Escapement Project Work Team, to be a convenient reference for other agencies, stakeholders, or the public interested in obtaining information from these surveys.
